Plot setup panic-preventative advice needed.

Howdy folks!

I'm a little corn-fu-sed. Any help coming from ya'll will be highly appreciated.

We're an office that uses 2008 and 2010 both saving to 2007 (I know, I know).

The 2008 plot setup uses the Heidi drivers and from what I understand 2010 doesn't need them.

We use Acroplot to automatically generate PDF files in batch at different phases of the job.

The problem is that whenever someone happens to be working in 2010 and plots one or two drawings and then resaves, the plot setup is invalid if reopened in 2008 because 2010 barfed out the previous setup sans the heidi driver.

This screws with the automatic PDF plotting and aggravates my gout!

My currently lisp routine, which I tenderly lifted from a previous post on this board, identifies if a particular page setup exists in the drawings.

I'd like to identify which one is actually current and if it is from the 2008 imported setting or the 2010 imported settings. I guess I could just have unique names between the two but I'm wondering if there is a more genteel and dignified approach to this malady cause it's startin' to really burn my biscuits.

I humbly implore ya'lls genius, talents and courtesies.
