E-Transmit and X-Clip

I have a drawing which I need to send to client in .dwg format. The drawing contains an x-ref which is in total 14MB.

I have x-ref'd the drawing in and then used xclip to try and keep the regen time / size down to a minimum.

Does anybody know if it is possible to just send the "xclip" from the xref and not the total 14MB drawing.

If your client doesn't have to make modifications in the drawing you could send it as DWF and instruct your client to download the free DWF Viewer from the Autodesk site :)

bind the x-ref into the drawing so it isn't linked anymore, and turn it into a block :) hope thats helpful somehow :P
