I just came upon this website and wanted to learn more about 3d CAD. Does anyone know any good websites with 3d tutorials. Thanks

There are lots of sites with tutorial listings for AutoCAD. Try www.cadtutor.net/acad/general/resource/resource.html (http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/general/resource/resource.html) for a start.

There is a Basic 3D tutorial on this site at www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/3d-basic/3d-basic.html (http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/3d-basic/3d-basic.html) which covers surface modelling and www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/ucs/ucs.html (http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/ucs/ucs.html) which covers UCS. Another at www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/perspect/perspect.html (http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/acadr14/perspect/perspect.html) covers perspective views of 3D models. Although these are R14 tutorials, they still work with 2000 and above. I am planning more 3D stuff in the near future. I aim to do a Solid Modelling tutorial soon and to update some of the earlier R14 tutorials.
