I got somee plug-ins

Hello,

I'm new user of 3D Studio MAX & VIZ.
:oops: , but I do not know how to use it!
I put them in C:\3dsmax_1\plugins, but what else I have to do?!
How I can use them when I'm in MAX & VIZ enviorment?
How should I use them?

Have you tried the help file that came with the plug in software or any internet support?What software is it that you have?

You should drop viz and download the design extensions from Discreets web site which adds all of the functionality of viz within Max5.1 or upgrade to max 6 which includes all the viz elements. It looks as if long term Viz won't be developed and Autodesk will try to move everone onto 3ds max.
Within the help files you should find plenty of info on adding pluggins. :shock:

Actually, they are looking into Viz6. (they are dropping a revision numberto catch up with max) it will be out next year.

They wont drop viz as it is much cheaper than max, and suits small to medium firms who want to render,without the animation package.
