Measurments

I'm looking for a piece of software that will scan in a photograph then produce exact measurments of the objexts in the photo. Is this something CAD can do or does anyone know of what sort of software I might need?

Yes Autocad can do just that, Coral Draw can do it aswell im sure. Cheaper still have a look for some photo editors on the net as some of them will also beable to do what u want

AutoCAD can roughly estimate the size of the photograph providing you have the actual measurement of the object within the picture. All you do is use scale and reference two points, put in the actual value and it will automatically scale to exact size. This method works if you are doing Aerial Photograph and B/W old scanned drawings.
