SwChilly Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I have the version 2010.. I am having trouble with lineweights. In my drawing there is an Xref.. Whenever I print the drawing the lines are too thick. I have checked the lineweights in the layers property and they are all set to Default. I have checked to see what default is and it is set to .20 mm.. I have clicked on scale lineweights when I go to plot it. Is there anything else or am I missing something? I feel like I've done everything I can think of. Thanks! Quote
numberOCD Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Have you checked the xref file? It is possible the xref file has lineweights assigned to the objects individually. Also, are you plotting the layout the same page size it was drawn? If not, then deselect "scale lineweights." I would suggest a test with changing a particular layer in the xref and making it either overly light or massively heavy to see if it actually changes the lines in the xref to determine whether or not it is individually weighted. jwkilgore Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Are you using a "plot style table", and if so, are the lines in the XREF the correct color? Plot style tables can be configured to assign line weights based on color (a throw-back to the old style pen based line plotters). Quote
