foster
Can multiple instances of the same attribute exist in a single block? Furthermore, can each instance exist in its own visibility state? I have a simple block with a single attribute. I'd like this attribute to be visible, and for the attribute to be displayed on the top, bottom, left, or right of the central symbol depending on its context and placement on the drawing. I copied the attribute four times and placed the text appropriately on four sides of the symbol. However, the instances of the attribute do not conform to the visibility states I have created. There are framing lines around the text, and these frames do obey visibility states. Is it impossible to have duplicate instances of the same attribute in a block? Should I instead be using a flip or rotation parameter?
Lt Dan's legs
The Tags of the attributes must be different.
Lt Dan's legs
Go in this block and change the S2 tag to S1 and see what happens. sample.dwg
