Auto Numbering

I have setup standard notes for my office. They are imported as blocks (see the attached image). I have the block setup on a few layers as follows:

Black Text (note): OFFICE_NOTES

Red line and circle: OFFICE_NOTES_SETUP

I have a lisp to toggle on and off the setup layer. This layer is only used to position the note on the layout and to position the numbering of the notes.

I have been using LeeMac's AutoNum to number the notes but have had problems when others use it. I am wondering if someone can write me a lisp that will place a number at the centre point of each of the circles within blocks on the OFFICE_NOTES_SETUP layer starting at the top of the drawings and working down along.
