Hi

I've just been tasked with upgrading our 15 year old HP designjet to something more suitable for our current needs.

We run Autodesk Inventor 2010 on Windows Vista 64bit PC's, the most demanding work we do plotter wise is printing out A0 colour prints of packaging machines, along with A0 General arrangment/assembly drawings.

As our current plotter has given us very few problems over the years so i'm keen to stick with HP, i've found one that looks like it fits the bill which is the Design Jet T770.

I'm happy with the spec and price but would like someone elses opinion on RAM size, the plotter comes with 2GB as standard with a max size of 8GB. Does this sound like it's up to the job?

Thanks in advance
