Freerefill Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Alan Thompson has become Alan Moore, and has become an eccentric, long-haired hermit so as to never again be associated with his previous works of art. He now sits in a cave in upstate Montana, clutching his AutoLISP programs to his chest and muttering something about Rorschach. Quote
TimSpangler Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 It is technically a registered symbol (Maybe it hasn't actually been registered) Look for more info. My symbol is TGS: (Not that I ever really use it .) Quote
chulse Posted June 11, 2010 Author Posted June 11, 2010 It is technically a registered symbol (Maybe it hasn't actually been registered) Look for more info. My symbol is TGS: (Not that I ever really use it .) So what is the purpose of doing that? Quote
TimSpangler Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 So what is the purpose of doing that? From the FAQ's: Why Register a Symbol? To ensure that each application is installed in a unique environment, a unique registered developer symbol should be obtained by each application developer. The developer symbol (RDS) should be used to name the application directory and to resolve file/variable conflicts that might arise during application installation or runtime. Quote
