Sarahms3 Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Hi gang! My coworker and I were fiddling with windows earlier today. We'd like a window that, in plan, shows only the frame and glass, no sash. We figured out that if we go to properties and the display tab, we can turn off the sash, but that leaves the glass floating between the frames without the glass-line actually touching the frame. Does anyone know if there's a way to stretch that glass line? Or perhaps there's a better way to go about the whole thing that we hadn't thought of? Thanks a lot, Sarah Quote
Sarahms3 Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 Sorry, it might help if I told you what I was using. I'm using AutoCAD Architecture 2008. Quote
Dana W Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Sorry, it might help if I told you what I was using. I'm using AutoCAD Architecture 2008. Make up your own window in the block editor, using the existing one as a starting point. Architecture has a block editor, doesn't it? I am not sure, not having used it before. Quote
Sarahms3 Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 There is a block editor. However, I'm using window objects, not typical blocks. Meaning, I'm going through the tool palette and attaching a window to a wall. I didn't see any window types on my list in the block editor. Does the block editor work for this sort of thing and I just missed something, or is there another way to edit them? Quote
