insight design Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Hi, Our office is thinking of getting AutoCad LT 2011. We do not use 3D modeling. Is there anything else we should be concerned about with getting this LT version? Right now most of us are using the full version of AutoCad 2007 and 2008. Thanks for your help:) Quote
insight design Posted June 15, 2010 Author Posted June 15, 2010 P.S. is it possible to attend an online tutorial with the trial version of the AutoCad LT 2011? Quote
rkmcswain Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 This comparison list is a couple of versions old, but still valid for the most part. http://cadpanacea.com/node/96 Quote
Dana W Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 The two biggest dissadvantages to the LT version in an office setting are: 1. No sheet set publishing. You have to plot each page of each drawing one at a time. 2. No network licensing. Each individual will have to have his/her own original install disk with a unique serial number and validation key.
