Help needed!!!

right, i am using AutoCAD 2000 and i want to know how to "reduce the length" of an extruded hollow solid.....

the hollow solid is a rectangle.....320 in length, 50 outside, 46 inside

i want it reduced from 320 to 200 in length

From the Solids Editing toolbar, (Not Solids toolbar), choose Extrude Faces. To shorten the length, pick the face of the end and enter a negative number.
-120 in this case.

Another option is subtracting another solid from your existing one...

Isn't that "extrude faces" thing just the best? :D

And do not forget the MOVE option (SOLIDEDIT > FACE > MOVE)
