Does anyone know of any good on-line architectural desktop tutorials or which of the many guide books is the better?

I'm looking for something that will generally address the needs of domestic construction in the UK. So how to develop wall and floor styles for blockwork cavity walls and timber joisted floors.

How to start either with the spaces first or just draw the building outline etc.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Start by looking here http://adt_blog.typepad.com/.

You might ask some of the ADT types over at AUGI also.

Thanks for this, I wasn't aware of the other sites even though AUGI one is on my AutoCAD help menu.

Silly isn't it, nowadays I tend to go straight to Google for an answer rather than a programs own help file.

I basically want to create some custom styles for my local construction techniques and the ones with CAD always tend to be either international or US.

Site I've used religiously for ADT:

ArchiDigm (http://www.archidigm.com/)

I purchased the ADT 04 pack for $75.00. WORTH THE INVESTMENT.
