balajibth84: Are you asking how to create a custom button for a lisp routine or macro? If yes, the topic is covered in AutoCAD's Customization Guide. You can also check out Michael's Corner where the author, Michael Beall, has covered the topic several times over the past few years. Click on the button labeled Michael's Corner under the CADTutor heading at the top of this webpage.

Hi.

I guess no matter what your Block is . since the insertion point would insert your desired block as well as normal one.

If not, so you'd better upload the return of the faild process to give us the chance for giving you a solution.

Good luck.

tharwat313: It looks like you are answering the original OP's question from back in July of this year that never elicited a response. balajibth84's comments don't address the original question so basically it is irrelevant. And my post tried to answer his question re: custom button. This thread seems to be somewhat disjointed.

That was what I directed my answer to.

But I didn't notice the related date of the thread. Besides that, I haven't been around for a while.

So Thanks Remark for the note.

There is no button called "Guide". I was referring to one of the resources made available to AutoCAD users called the Customization Guide.

You should have a copy of the guide on your installation CD in PDF format. Check your Help files too.
