Firstly, before we can assist you, whats your level of knowledge and what version of autocad are you using? It will make our feedback that much easier. Have you had any rendering\3d exp before?

Probable this is a stupid question, but do you have a 3d solid? Usualy we use to hatch areas in 2d drawings. I agree with G: give us more informations.

Thanks David. I love SuperHatch. It is really nice in 2004 when you can add gradient fills to your drawing as well. Very slick!

Kenny never responded, but when he wrote "render", I thought he meant in 3D. Thanks for the info about the Super Hatch though, that was a tool I never used before.

Hey, that tree sure looks familiar :D .

You know, sometimes I get the feeling that making all this stuff available on the web is a waste of time, I often wonder whether anyone really uses it - but hey - there it is. Thanks F7.

Damn that's a nice tree, can you change it to a Rowan, errr, 2 plum trees and an apple tree for my garden, also 35 Cypreses
I'm actually looking at doing a landscape plan of my garden you see!

Got to play with that tool pallet as well. BTW - those were done in 2000i not 2004. Remember that the scale of the image you are using as a hatch is important to get the look you want. Good luck :)

Yeah..I found that tree somewhere...now where did I get it????
I had a lot of white to remove from the image, let me tell you. I made it into a transparent .png with the white removed. Insert raster image and there you go.

I bet there is an easier way but graphic programs are not my strong suite. David, all of your information here is PRICELESS! Like I told you before, I wish I had a place like this when I was learning to get ideas and lessons from. There are probably lots of people who get help from your site and your hard work. I for one appreciate it :)
