One of the dinosaurs at work is still using r14 (it was hard enough prising him off his drawing board, so we don't hastle him too much).

Just recently he found that when the mtext editor is open, when the cursor hovers over the back background, it turns from white to black, effectively rendering it invisible, unless it hovers over a letter, whereby it occludes the letter slightly.

All of us in the office are stumped by this as we can't find an colour settings for the mtext editor which then doesn't impact the program colours.

Anyone got an idea?

As far as I know the colour settings of the mtext editor are not controlled directly from AutoCAD itself, rather through the windows settings. You can change these via the control panel-Display.This will also change the colour settings for other programs to! Can't see a way round it,can you chanmge the clolour of the cursor ,would that be easier and have less impact on the other programs?
