I am trying to connect three parts together in a asemly by creating a hole pattern. In the attached image you can see what i´m trying to acomplish. I have tryed everything with no effort. I even created hole pattern on all three parts and then assemble the parts , but the holes did not match properly using the same parameters on each. I´m totally lost her and if someone can help me with this problem it will bee greatly appreciated :shock:hole_pattern.jpg

I´m sure the solution to this problem is quite simple, but i dont see it :ouch:

Thank you all for great threads

Zip and attach the files here.

There are several solutions.

When you say you "used the same parameters" my guess is that you used on smaller curve since one part fits inside the other. If you used the same curve in both I do not see any reason the holes would not line up if the pattern were created properly.

Did you use multi-body solids technique? This would guarantee they line up.

One solution is to use the pattern of one part with Bolted Connection Generator to create the holes in the other parts.

This is a part of a larger assembly only 2 parts of a total of 13 parts in length, just to explane what im trying to do.

I tryed to post the part files but they were to large for this thread.

I look forward to see what you will come upp with

Best regards
