rdharvey Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 WHEN SPLITTING BODIES WITHIN INVENTOR CAN EACH BODY BE SAVED AS AN INDIVIDUAL PART SO I CAN EDIT EACH HALF AND THEN ASSEMBLE LATER ON OR DO THEY STAY IN THE SAME WORK SPACE WITH JUST THE VISIBILITY:sweat: OPTIONS AVAILABLE...? THANKS:sweat: Quote
JD Mather Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 thanks JD LOL, I was in a hurry (regular job getting in the way). Did you figure it out from that short response? Here is more detailed response http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/content/DSG322/Inventor%20Tutorials/Inventor%202011%20Tutorial%2014.pdf Quote
rdharvey Posted October 11, 2010 Author Posted October 11, 2010 Yeah I got it, thought it was possible just couldn't seem to find the right tab! Thanks. Also, do you remember that F1 car example you showed me that a student of yours completed? was this one of your assignments/tutorials or just something they did in their spare time? Quote
JD Mather Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 ... F1 car example you showed me that a student of yours completed? was this one of your assignments... They had to pick a class project - that was one of the more complex projects I have had a student choose. Here is a fantasy adaptation of the car. (supposed to be an animated gif - if it doesn't play try copying to your desktop and open) The fantasy car was drive by wire (two joysticks) fuel cell/electric generator powerplant with individual electic motors in each wheel for propulsion/braking.
