WHEN SPLITTING BODIES WITHIN INVENTOR CAN EACH BODY BE SAVED AS AN INDIVIDUAL PART SO I CAN EDIT EACH HALF AND THEN ASSEMBLE LATER ON OR DO THEY STAY IN THE SAME WORK SPACE WITH JUST THE VISIBILITY:sweat: OPTIONS AVAILABLE...?

Also, do you remember that F1 car example you showed me that a student of yours completed? was this one of your assignments/tutorials or just something they did in their spare time?

They had to pick a class project - that was one of the more complex projects I have had a student choose.

Here is a fantasy adaptation of the car. (supposed to be an animated gif - if it doesn't play try copying to your desktop and open)

 

The fantasy car was drive by wire (two joysticks) fuel cell/electric generator powerplant with individual electic motors in each wheel for propulsion/braking.

all sounds very interesting. Where did the student resource his dimensions for the f1 car or was it estimated. i have been looking for a while so i can model one up to boost my portfolio.

He used photographs from the internet in his sketches from different angles and estimated.
