Hi all

As someone who doesn't use either Autoplant or inventor, I'm hoping someone on this forum can tell me if there are any issues in importing Inventor (rel 10) files into Autoplant (latest version). I've had lots of problems in the past converting Microstation (also from Bentley) into AutoCAD, and as I'm advising our company on packages, we don't want to go too far down the road before finding conversion problems.

Thanks in advance

Hi Deelay

Thanks for the reply - sorry to take so long getting back - been out of the office. ..

Does Inventor only export in IGES or STEP format? and if so is there any third party application that could be used to convert the files into a format suitable for Autoplant?

Thank again

Saying that that of the top of my head so I will look an friday at tech and see if I have missed any that might help you.

Not aware of any third party application to help you out, sorry.
