Dynamic Input

Autocad 2006 has a dynamic input tab
I always turn it off and on an autodesk 2006 update course we never covered it.
I looked at it and it gets in the way, anyone got any reason why it could help me or am i right to never use it ?

I remember reading about that in the 2006 release hoopla. They seemed to be wanting to eliminate the command line.

I still do things the way I used to...so I guess I'm doing what you are doing.

If it's what I think you are refering to I'm now a fan of it. I rarely use the menus and while I missed the command line at first I am now quite happy with the extra 5mm of screen area! Try Options|Drafting|Settings and fiddle in there. I think there is another way to disable it but I have forgotten it atm. :unsure:
