clipping viewports

i am using autocadLT 2000i, and i want to know how to clip corners of a viewport to exclude unwanted material.

Not sure if this works in LT but in full AutoCAD 2000i there is the OBJECT option when creating viewports. Effectively, you can create a viewport from any closed polyline so it can be any shape you like. You can even use circles to create circular viewports.
