Lt Dan's legs Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 My job wants to upgrade to architecture 2010 from acad 2007. I'm wondering, what's the difference in programming? Will my program's writen for 2007 work in 2010? Quote
alanjt Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 A lot of the new objects are written in a .net formatting, so lists don't offer much (entget). Quote
JohnM Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 It depends on what language your programs are written in you will have to run each in the new AutoCAD to see if there are any issues. Programs written in auto / visual lisp are the easiest to fix if you have the source code ARX are more complex Quote
Lt Dan's legs Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 Almost all are autolisp with the exeption of one VL I wrote and a couple Alan and Lee wrote. Quote
JohnM Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Chances are if there are any issues they will be easy to fix Quote
