f700es Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Well there is no scale per say but since autocad does not draw in a scale but to scale, 1 to 1. There are units you can set up in autocad (decimal, architectural). You print to a scale in autocad, you don't draw to one. Quote
ReMark Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 You can see all the default scales AutoCAD comes with simply by typing SCALELISTEDIT at the command line then press ENTER. This will bring up the Edit Scale List dialog box and you can scroll through the list. Scales can be added as well as deleted. As f700es pointed out though AutoCAD does not draw in a particular scale. The cardinal rule is draw all your objects in model space at FULL size. When done, switch to a layout, create a viewport, adjust the viewport display the way you want and assign a scale to the viewport. When it comes time to print/plot do so from your layout at a scale of 1:1. AutoCAD will handle scaling what appears in the viewport based on the scale you assigned. Quote
