One Lost Toolbar

Im sure this has been covered before but I cant find it.Ive made a load of my own personal menu buttons saved seperately outside of autocad.Everything is fine apart from the fact that it says my dimension toolbar is active,as the little cross in my toolbar selection box is checked.But my toolbar is not there,its no where to be found not even of the corner of the page.Ive minimsed my drawing moved all my toolbars around and looked for it but its gone gone gone :shock: !Any ideas?

It could be off the screen!!

You could try setting the screen resolution higher to see if it appears, then change it back again once you have found it.

There is another way where you can force the toolbar to appear at certain co-ordinates on the screen but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it! Perhaps someone else knows!

I tried every screen resolution option trying to entice the toolbar to show itself,but it was just going to carry on hiding so I tried your second suggestion.All you do is enter the toolbar command line prompt which is -toolbar then enter the toolbar name and then its postion you wish it to dock at and it suddenly comes out of hiding :D !Thanks robfowler

You solved it, not me! Well done for finding out how to do it yourself - I just couldn't remember how it was done although I had seen the answer somewhere in the dim and distant past but never had to do it myself.

Now you'll never forget how to find that illusive toolbar :lol:

Yeh I find it interesting finding out whats going on and am curious to work out how to sort these little problems out,its the best way of learning and if I use this website, others will hopefully find it easier next time they come across the same problem.Thats happened a few times before you remember coming across the problem but you just cant place where you found the answer :) ,luckly theres other helpfull people out there wanting to offer their help to.
