knafziger Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hi There, I have lost the dialog box that comes up when you execute the open drawing command. It wants me to enter the drawing name in the command prompt and won't open the dialog box. Can you tell me how to turn my dialog box back on? Thanks! Quote
Cad64 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Type FILEDIA at the command line and change the setting to 1. Quote

edwinprakoso Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 @Alanjt also for PICKFIRST thread. I found at least 10 question about it this month! Quote
irneb Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 And it's always because of some add-on / script which doesn't set them back to their original after completing / erroring out. Quote
edwinprakoso Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 I'm not 100% agree with that. I saw some AutoCAD LT users also have this problem, and they don't use script/macro. I don't know how, but something else may cause it too. My sister also had this problem before, but since she use AutoCAD map, I thought some map function cause it. She's a very basic user, so she never use LISP or other macro. I also doubt that some map function cause it, but it could be some Autodesk programmer does write bad routine. But for LT?
