MrJewbagel Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Hi, I have 2011 on my home computer and the company where I work only has 2002. I was wondering what format, on 2011, could I save my drawings as that is compatible with 2002. Thanks in advance, MrJewbagel Quote
Grant Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Go saveas - change file of type to Autocad 2000/ LT 2000 Drawing (*.dwg) Could go to 2000 DXF and it will work Hope this helps Quote

I'll try it! I just wasn't sure what the backwards compatibility of 2002 was. Thanks, MrJewbagel Quote
Grant Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 You could always goto - 'options' dialog /'open and save' tab/ 'File save' and in the 'save as' drop down box change it to Autocad 2000 *.dwg so your files always save as a 2000 file. May help?? Cheers Quote
ccowgill Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 just note, that a lot of the new features, such as annotative text, multileaders, tables wont necessarily make a round trip, and may not be editable in the previous releases. Quote
