Birdhunter59
I am trying to use Inventor Tooling to desing a mold. My question is when I pick for example DME mold base I only get one option for type and all I get is metric. Any help would be appreciated. JD Mather
Do you have the Imperial library checked in your ipj file? Did you start from the Mold Design(in).iam file (or did you start from the default Mold Design.iam)? Does DME make inch unit bases? (also, I'm not sure - but I think it automatically filters out base sizes that would not fit your core/cavity - I have to experiment to check on this, but I'm thinking that might be a reason you see only one size)
Birdhunter59
I went back to Tooling 2010 and I don't have imperial as an option on that. On my 2011 I do have imperial checked but when I go to vendor and type and click the arrow it stalls at please wait, searching. I did start in the Mold Design(in).iam. I have used DME bases for 30 years and I have never seen a metric one. I am not sure why my 2011 is stalling. Thanks
