Difficulty finding an answer

I have a titleblock that was not of my design but that I have made some alterations to for blocks and Attributes, and have used for over a year now. When I double click on the titleblock the Enhanced Attribute Editor opens and I complete the necessary text fields. The text has always entered into the Editor in an "Insertion" mode but as I was entering text the other day it suddenly flipped to an "Overwrite" mode. My only course of action (because I despise Overwrite) was to "Undo" about a dozen entries to work my way back to prior to the flip and start afresh. I've been looking for an answer for a couple of days now as to how to change the mode of text entry from Insertion to Overwrite and back again but keep having no luck. I'm sure that one of you knows where that snake is that is about to bite me. Thanks.

Im not sure what you mean by "insert" and "overwrite". How does this affect attribute data?

Thanks, rkent! I must have been reaching for the Home key of that text string and hit Insert by mistake. Doot! Told ya' that dang snake coulda' bit me!
