Can the stress analysis add-on in Autodesk Inventor be used for this purpose? Can it read the MEP objects or an AutoCAD export from MEP? Inventor Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 MEP is not a product i have used so i don't think i will be of much help here. What i am wondering is whether MEP creates true solid objects or whether they are a special type of piping object specific to MEP, maybe there is another forum for MEP where someone can let us know if there is a solid out put from MEP? Inventor can certainly import AutoCAD Solids if MEP creates them? In terms of the Stress analysis in Inventor question, what is it that you are trying to analyse.
