Selecting Multiply Lines\Objects

I had a problem not being able to snap to old lines, arcs or anything that was drawn previously. I finally got that figured out but now I can't select multiple items whether if is a single line or multiply items. Before I could click on a line then click on another line and the first line would still be selected. You could select as many lines as you needed. Now as soon as I click a second line the first line is no longer highlighted. The same thing happens when I select one large area of multiple lines and then select a second large area of multiple lines.

You go to Tools -> Option -> Selection

At Select Modes uncheck Use Shift to add to selection.

If you want keep this, you must use Shift whenever you want to add more object
