Dimension Text mirror problems

Using AutoCAD LT 2006.
When mirroring parts of a drawing horizontally the dimension text on the dimensions are flipping upside down below the dimension lines. How do I prevent this and or correct it after the mirror?

Type mirrtext in the command line and adjust the setting to zero.

I was already aware of mirrtext but it doesn't seem to apply to this particular problem.

Got to modify dimstyle and look at text placement.
Sounds like vertical placement is set to "outside" try using "above"

Try setting your UCS to world.

That I believe is a UCS issue. try rotating it.
