Mobileinventor
I was able to get a tangent constraint for the plunger inside of the cylinder but not with the air check valve and the small hole on the end of the cylinder. I also set the plunger and cylinder as contact sets and changed the document settings to account for contact sets but it doesnt work and my update button is missing too. How do I insert a spring so when the plunger is pushed inside the cylinder then a spring is compressed. Many thanks for your help! kencaz
You don't really need the contact solver for this... Check out this link from a past post: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?51664-Adaptive-Springs&highlight=adaptive+spring Mark Flayer has a good technique for adaptive springs...
