I have a drawing in 3-D that I would like to show in four viewports; Isometric (3-D), Top (plan), Side and End views. I wish to have different dimensions visible in each viewport. Turning off the dimension layer in one viewport turns them off in all viewports. Rather than having a separate dimension layer for each viewport is there a simple way to accomplish this? Using Autocad 2004.

Had to kept your software current the ability to shut off a layer in one viewport but not in others would be one feature you could have benefited from.

Use wipeouts?

Dimension in paper space instead of model space?

Other?
