dtaylor Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 So I use the SOLVIEW/SOLDRAW combo all the time to create various shop drawing out of my 3D models in ACAD 2011. What I'm looking to do is find out how I would create a circular viewport instead of the standard rectangular one that is created when using the SOLVIEW command? Thanks for any help Quote
ReMark Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 My guess would be that you can't because I don't see where you would have any control over it from within the Solview command. Quote
dtaylor Posted January 21, 2011 Author Posted January 21, 2011 hmm, On my sheet i wanted to draw a circle around a key part of my layout and have lines coming off that circle to a blown up circular viewport on the very same sheet. Quote
ReMark Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Create the view you need using Flatshot. You'll end up with a block. The block can be exploded. Then create a circular viewport to view it through. Quote
