Eyeball Kid Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Anyone know how to import a !@#$ing hatch file into 2010. Why do they hide the location of the freakin' .pat files? Thanks. Quote
ccowgill Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 default pat file location is within the user support folder. Our office overrides that default location and has them located in a single folder on the network that everyone has read access to. on my machine (Win 7) the folder is: "C:\Users\current user\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2011\R18.1\enu\support" where as current user would be my user name. you could also use (findfile "acad.pat") to determine the location of the default hatch pattern file., but that should already be loaded within the hatch dialog box. I know many people dont favor the option, but the first thing I do with a new release is add all our custom hatches to the bottom of the acad.pat file, that way we dont need to load multiple pat files. ReMark Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Hatch patterns are "loaded" not "imported". Quote
SLW210 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Hatch patterns are "loaded" not "imported". Yes, that is true, but remember, this also is not a "Hatching Problem" either. Quote
