How do I change my default font and dim style,so that it will always be the font and dim style I want?Begining to get fed entering text sometimes then realising my text is only the standard text  ,have to change it all!
I've used fontalt before but that still brings up the standard font instead

Set it in your startup .dwt (template) file. Probably acad.dwt (or something similar). Then it will be set when you start a new drawing.

Yes you do ;) Every time you start AutoCAD it opens the acad.dwt template (or r2000/2000i/2002 does). It either opens that template or another one but it does start with a blank template drawing of some kind (I'm pretty sure on this).
