gabuchia Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) I have a question, how do I project lines of a road in plane view unto the longitudinal view. It's curved, so it's quite difficult, compared to a straight road. The .dwg file is able to be downloaded here! Edit: The .jpeg file is able to be downloaded here : http://ifile.it/snwyx3r/plottinglines.jpg Edited April 19, 2011 by gabuchia removed link Quote
Tiger Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Hi Gabuchia and welcome to the forum, I removed your link since it was not valid, please upload a picture directly here instead. Downloadable files makes me and others nervous. Quote

Organic Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I don't see your problem, the road layout plan has chainages, your long section has chainages, so just use the chainages to plot the lines. Quote
gabuchia Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 @Dink - So you suggest I plot the 0meter of plan view against the 0meter of longitudinal view, along with the rest? @ReMark - It has centerline, I'm not sure about centerline stationing Quote
