I'm tring to plot 26 or so sheets into a single pdf or multiple pdfs and I get this error every time with no file being created.

Do you have access to the mapped drive or is it disconnected? Try publishing to the Desktop and see if it works then.

I'm sure that the drive is connected, but I still tried publishing it to the desktop and I also copied the cad file to the desktop and publishing to the desktop. Same error, same issue.

Can you do a normal plot to pdf rather than publish. Maybe also download cutepdf its free, maybe something wrong with dwg to pdf ?

The only downfall regarding CutePDF is that it doesn't handle patch plotting/publishing well, if at all.
