hagan8 Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 I have searched and cannot find if this has been posted before. Using AutoCad 2009 thru 2012, I am having trouble with the Datalink/Table command. I have set of my information in Excel and set my parameters. As I use Datalink/Table in AutoCad, the Excel spreedsheets come in extremely skinny. Is there a setting that needs to be changed in order to get the Excel spreedsheet look more like the what it should in AutoCad? I have tried deleting and recreating the links in every version I have listed above. I am very confused. Hagan8 Quote
dbroada Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 In 2008, you have to set all your font, column & row sizes in AutoCAD, either as a default table style or on an individual basis. I usually link my table and then set each item in turn by selecting it and using the properties palette. Tedious but I don't do this very often. Quote
hagan8 Posted May 16, 2011 Author Posted May 16, 2011 I have set up the table and without recreating the wheel, linking the Excel file still doesnt work correctly. I think maybe its the version of Excel I am using. Last week these files worked fine. Im linking them to another AutoCad file and the excel files dont look right.... Thanks for the advice Quote
