Making a mpeg from 3D view

Alright folks..

Just a quick one.. was wondering today is it possible to make a mpeg from a 3D model.. for example (using AutoCAD 2006) use continious 3D orbit to rotate around an object and export to another file as a movie mpeg.

I know it was possible in solid edge unigraphics but it was many years ago when i learnt that package and we didn't really find much use for it to be honest.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

AutoCAD doesn't have that feature.

You can download a trial verson of Camtasia Studio and it will do screen graps and create a video file. It should be able to do avi and mpeg.
