just got AutoCad 2006 as a retirment present, as i have retired, to use as a hobbie, used 2005 version, how do i change entering commands on the curser, to the command bar, (how do i turn it off ) so i can type the commands in the command prompt line.

In AutoCAD 2006 the Dynamic Prompt can be disabled by toggling the DYN button on the status line or by setting the DYNPROMPT variable to "0". The default is "1".
