Burner Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 Trying to convert a logo that is in a PDF. I tried copy/paste into a drawing but it doesn't seem to be that easy. Tips/tricks? Quote
Burner Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 When I copy/paste into the model space, the logo is displayed as an image. This is fine for drafting, but this file is ultimately going to be used for a granite cutting machine; it uses the lines in the drawing as a guide. Can we convert the image into an editable drawing? SLW210 Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 It is usually easiest to redraw. There are programs to convert the files, just search on here and Google. What format does your granite cutting machine use? Quote
Burner Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 The machine will use DXF files that I'll convert from DWG. I have looked into software/services, but I was hoping I could do it myself to save some time/money. I have considered drawing myself, but at this point it seems to be the only option... thanks for the help. Quote
SLW210 Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 I have had mixed results, but GSVIEW, Ghostscript, PStoEdit is what I will use periodically. It is free. Quote
