Anyone used Pro-E?

My new job means that I need to learn some Pro-E stuff. Looking at the basics, it has absolutely nothing in common with ACAD.
Does anyone know any good sites where I may get some literature on it?
Amazon want £40 for the first level book, I believe there are 5 of them in the series!
The help files are only any good if you know what you're looking for.

I've already downloaded a few tutorials and they were helpfull, but like most stuff, they don't explain "why to do it this way".
