reference block

is ter any way to explode a reference block

you haveto bind it which will sever the referenced path and insert it as a block.

i still no understand wat mean of bind it please help me

type in xref , select the external reference file in the dialog box and right click, there should be a bind option under this menu.

Would XBIND be more appropriate in this case?

"Use XBIND to add individual xref-dependent named objects, such as blocks, text styles, dimension styles, layers, and linetypes, to the local definition table."
