Error message reads Fatal error out of memory, This is with autodesk architectural desktop 2006,
Pc has 2GB ram, error occurs when layer properties manager adjust settings has been used and clicks ok.
Additional info, happens when several drawings are open at the same time.
could this simply be there is not enough ram.

Yes ram looks like the problem, 2gig of ram is not alot, more ram needed . Try not using any other programs while using cad, may help.
