I know this is prolly dumb but I created a block, saved & reopened the dwg and now can't select it....Uhh, I've never made blocks before so don't know what happened nor how to fix it...

Which option did you have select during the making of the block ??

Retain - Selected objects retains as they are .. seperate entities and block is stored in drawing for future insertion
Convert To Block - Selected objects are converted to a block and block is stored in drawing for future insertion
Delete - Selected objects are delete and block is stored in drawing for future insertion
