Greetings. I wonder what the best way to select the elements of a layer whose name I know at first, and change your view (not the layer) including the type of line, its thickness, color and even the text type and height . Thank you.

Just reading that part, I would say....

 

Layer Isolate, then select.

-or-

Filter or Qselect command

 

...but the second part of your question is unclear.

Since this is posted in the programming forum, I'm guessing that you want to do this as part of a LISP program. In which case, ssget is the function you will need to study.

 

Consider this example to create a selection set of all entities on the layer Layer1:

 

(ssget "_X" '((8 . "Layer1")))

 

You will need to clarify your other intentions however.
