Xref in wrong place

I am trying to attach an xref which is georeferenced(has coordinates) but it goes to the wrong place when attached meaning that when I "ID" certain points the coordinates are not the same as the original drawing.
In my "External Refercence" dialogue box everything in "unchecked" except "overlay"

Please can somebody help me.

Open the drawing that you are trying to xref.

Type in BASE and check the basepoint. If it not 0,0 change it to 0,0.

Save the drawing.

Open the host drawing, then attach the XREF and use 0,0 as the insertion base point.
